Belnap 教授簡介：Belnap 教授是 Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences，今年退休前他是美國匹茲堡大學哲學系的 Alan Ross Anderson Distinguished Professor of Philosophy。Belnap 教授的主要學術興趣包括哲學邏輯、形而上學、語言哲學和科學哲學等，其出版的主要學術著作（合著）包括 Entailment I, Entailment II, The Logic of Questions and Answers, The Revision Theory of Truth 和 Facing the Future 等。近年來，他在 agency 和 branching space-time 等問題上有大量的工作。
